I visited here during my motorcycle tour of all 36 state parks. The team working here still sticks in my memory. They were so welcoming and excited to see me, even asking if they could take pictures with me and my bike. I was just another visitor to their park but they made me feel like a VIP. What great ambassadors for the park system!
First time here and enjoyed walking the trail and learning about this battle.
The wooded element is nice, and the bridge is kind of interesting, but it doesn't seem like there's a ton to the park besides the walking trails. That's fine; they're nice trails.
This is a civil war historic site. Great place for a short walk. Lots of great views from the bridges. Has a few benches to sit and relax. Also has a monarch butterfly garden at the visitor center.
Such a beautiful place. Great for walking dogs.
